Sustainable project starts on Schwenningen Campus

Following its successful launch on the Tuttlingen Campus in the summer semester of 2024, the “Lerne mit GeNuss!” project also got off to a promising start on the Schwenningen Campus in the winter semester of 2024/25. Students were introduced to the innovative and sustainable project in the “Market of Opportunities” during the first semester orientation events. The concept met with lively interest and positive feedback.

Coffee from a coffee machine that processes packaging-free organic coffee balls, and organic nuts from the “No packaging” shop, were offered for tasting. Students were also shown a high-quality, reusable thermo mug that combines sustainability with practicality. These offers, which are both environmentally conscious and directly tailored to the students' needs, create a pleasant and sustainable atmosphere for learning.

The project quickly became known through targeted marketing measures − Instagram, posters and the newsfeed of the FELIX learning platform with around 500 subscribers. The students were delighted with the coffee machine and the nuts. These little extras offered the students a welcome break from the stressful university routine.

Sabine Vetter-Hauser, Head of the Campus Library in Schwenningen, was also positive about the successful start of the project, "The widespread interest and positive feedback show that we are doing something right here."
